Katherine Burnett Williams, the eldest daughter of the late Francis and Ruth Gough, was born July 24, 1940 in Baltimore Maryland. She was married to the late Woodrow Williams II. She departed this life on August 20, 2022 at her home. Katherine was educated in the Baltimore City School system. She was a retired home aid provider. She later worked at One Charles Center downtown office tower for Peter Angelos owner of the Baltimore Orioles as a staff supervisor which she later retired from. Katherine was a queen to everyone she knew. Her heart could not be compared to none; always putting others first. She loved the Lord and showed it through her many great deeds and was very adept in dealing with people. She understood the worth and dignity of each individual especially when providing advice in crisis situations. She leaves to cherish loving memories, long-time companion, Earl Griffin, six sons, Woodrow Williams III (Woody), Charles Williams (Tony), Gary Williams, Kevin Williams, Dominick Griffin and Larry Griffin (Donnell); one Daughter, Brenda Williams (Terri). One daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Williams; two sisters Joan Gough and Eleanore Gough; one brother, Calvin Gough; nine grandsons, Tebon Williams, Corey Williams, Terrence Williams, Donavan Gholston, Dominick Griffin Jr. (Lil Nick), Desean Griffin, Darrean Griffin and Larry Griffin Jr.(Lil Nell); five granddaughters, Shamia Williams, Ashley Williams, Jasmine Williams, Destiny Griffin and Ciera Reid; fifteen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Tyrone Wiggins; one grandson Dominique Griffin (Manny) and three brothers, Richard Gough, Vernon Gough and Irvin Gough. A viewing for Mrs. Williams will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133. On Friday, September 2, 2022, a homegoing celebration for Mrs. Williams will be held at the Antioch Baptist Church of Clinton, 9107 Pine View Lane, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with services to follow.
