She is preceded in death by her brother, Harold Wayne Adkins, Sr. of Chester, MD. Betty lived in Spring Hill, Tennessee for the past 22 years, after raising her daughters and enjoying the quiet farm life in Brandywine, Maryland on Kalmia Farm. A firecracker, spitfire, feisty and fun, she was always up for a good laugh. She loved dogs, spending time with her family & friends, eating crabs and oysters, and of course, Elvis Presley. She was lovingly cared for by her daughter Rose and Sonia Morse during the last few years of her life. Visitation, memorial service and burial will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Friends and family are invited to attend the viewing/visitation from 10:00 – 11:30 am and memorial service at 11:45 am at Huntt Funeral Home at 3035 Old Washington Rd., Waldorf, Maryland. Graveside service and burial will be held at 12:30 pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens at 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Waldorf, Maryland.
