    Debra Ann Warren

    August 25, 1962 - January 6, 2022

DEBRA ANN WARREN age 59 of Waldorf, Maryland is survived by her loving family. Obituary On Thursday, January 6, 2022, in White Plains, Maryland surrounded by family, Debra Ann Warren was granted her angel wings. On August 25, 1962 Debra was born in Marbury, Maryland, to the late Arlene Day and Charles "Hook" Warren. She was a lifelong resident of Charles County, MD. Debra received her education through the Charles County Public School System. She professed her faith in Christ and was baptized at New Life Church in White Plains, Maryland. Debra was a Building Service Assistant Manager at LaPlata High School and worked for 21 years with the Charles County Board of Education. Debra loved word puzzles, scary movies, and spending time with her niece LaTonya Aka Ty. Of all that she loved to do, her most prized possessions were her grandchildren Dayshaun (20), DeMarcus (11), Jasmine (9), Dezmine (9), Zionnie (9), Skylar (3), and Nikko (2). She enjoyed helping to raise and teach them the values of life. She enjoyed watching them cheer and participate in football, and she was their biggest cheerleader in whatever they did. Her priority was ensuring that her grandchildren were always taken care of through good and bad times. Debra's arms were always extended to her children's friends. She was a mother to them all, and it didn't matter who child it was. Her children's friends often referred to her as "MA." She was an extraordinary person. Debra gave from the heart and was always helping people out, whether it was giving advice, babysitting, or providing them with a place to stay if she had, you had. Debra was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashea Ann Washington, mother, Arlene Day, father Charles "Hook" Warren, brother Carroll (Cle) Hawkins, nephew, James Jackson, and aunt, Veronica Day. Left to cherish loving memories are her devoted and loving soul mate, William (Henny) Washington; two sons, Anton and Naquan (Buddy) Washington; one daughter, Shawndanne Yates; grandchildren, Dayshaun Washington, DeMarcus Washington, Jasmine Washington, Dezmine Washington, Zionnie Hill, Skylar Thompson, Nikko Washington; two sisters, Barbara and Shiela Warren; three brothers, James Day, Calvin and Jerome (June) Warren; daughter-in-law, Natasha Washington and a host of nieces and nephews.
