Agnes Claralee (Hawkins) Swann, 79, of Charlotte Hall, MD.
Peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, La Plata, MD, Mrs. Agnes Swann transitioned to eternal life.
Agnes was born in Pomfret, MD, July 17, 1937 to William Hawkins and Ella Lorise (Lyles) Hawkins.
She was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church, La Plata, MD.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ella Hawkins; husband, James Daniel Swann Sr.; sisters: Marystone Muschette, Henrietta Dorsey, Eloise Farmer, Gertrude Wheeler; brothers-in-law: Joseph Farmer, John Dorsey and Brooks Muschette Sr.
Left to cherish many fond memories are her children: James D. Swann Jr. (Sarah); John A. Swann (Vanessa); Richard A. Swann Sr. (Jackquelyn); Jerome P. Swann; Diane Dade (Clayton); Wanda L. Swann; Pam D. Hawkins (Steve); Tracy V. Swann (Earl); 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Lillian Livers; brothers-in-law, George Livers Sr. and William Wheeler; other relatives and friends.
Viewing 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 30 at the host Church, La Plata United Methodist Church, 3 Port Tobacco Road, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
