Alberta Stein Simms' Obituary
Alberta Stein Simms, 91 of Prince Frederick, Maryland, passed away May 19, 2016.
Alberta was a homemaker who was also President of the Hollywood VFD Ladies Auxillary from 1963-1964 and a member of the American Cancer Society.
Born on June 25, 1924 in Rock Point, Maryland, she was the daughter of Thomas Stein and Maria Daisy Ferrell and was the wife of Thomas William Simms. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her son, William Donald Simms.
Our matriarch of five generations is survived by her daughter, Sandra Simms Moreland; her son, Thomas Walter Simms and his wife, Susan; daughter-in-law, Barbara Simms; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends received on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 5-8PM and where Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, Maryland.
