Alice Jean Lambdin's Obituary
Alice Jean (Mills) Lambdin, age 87, of Bryans Road, MD, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. She was born on August 1, 1935, the daughter of the late Chester Mills and Mary (James) Mills. On October 13, 1956, she married the late Richard Leroy Lambdin.
Alice was a graduate of Lackey High School in Indian Head, MD. She retired from the Department of the Navy after a 39-year career. One of the most important things in her life was her faith. She was a lifelong member of Marbury Baptist Church. She loved traveling the country with her husband Richard in their RV resulting in them visiting almost every state including a road trip thru Canada to Alaska via the Al-Can Highway. However, more than anything, her greatest and abiding love was for her family.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband Richard, six siblings, including her twin sister Joyce Ann Buck.
Alice is survived by: a daughter, Christina McDonough (and her husband Jim) of Smoke Hole, WV; a son, Richard M. Lambdin (and his wife Jamie) of Whispering Pines, NC; her sister-in-law, Janice Petrosh of Eldersburg, MD; five grandchildren, Nichole Lambdin, Jason McClaugherty, Brittany Lambdin, Hugh McClaugherty, Justin Danielson; and one great-granddaughter, Ava McClaugherty; and many nieces and nephews.
Inurnment & memorial service for both Alice Jean & Richard will be held at a later date.
