Alice Louise Willett's Obituary
Alice Louise Willett, 84, of White Plains, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata.
Born on April 27, 1940 in Marshall Hall, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late George H. Pickeral Sr. and Lillian M. Pickeral. Alice was a homemaker and mom who enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband Claude T. Willett Sr.; siblings Naomi Jenkins, Lil Hayes, Susan Buchanan, Beulah Stalcup, and Billy Pickeral; son-in-law Gary Laughery.
Alice is survived by her daughter Paula Laughery; son Claude Willett Jr. and his wife Tracy; grandchildren Michael Laughery, Justin, Laughery, Samantha Willett, and Claude Willett III; great grandchildren Jackson Laughery, Michael Laughery Jr., Kaden Laughery, and Bethany Laughery; sisters Florence Robey, Mildred Willett , Evelyn Otto; brother George H. Pickeral Jr.; her nurse, caregiver, and friend Debbie Mayo.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 6PM to 8 PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 9:30AM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland.
Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
Pallbearers are Claude Willett III, Nathan Jackson, Michael Laughery, Justin Laughery, Mark Roberts, and George Pickeral Jr.
