Barbara Ann Hurst's Obituary
Barbara Ann Hurst, 89, of White Plains, Maryland, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026 at the Complete Care of La Plata. Born on April 8, 1937 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Eckloff and Louise Eckloff. Barbara was a homemaker and mom who enjoyed making jewelry, pottery, and ceramics. She also was fond of shopping. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her son Bennie Charles Hurst. Barbara is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bennie K. Hurst; sons Ronnie L. Hurst and his wife Cheryl, Garry L. Hurst and his wife Carolyn; grandchildren Lauren Rae (Brandin) Hansrote, Shelby Lynn (Tyrone) Yates, and Andrew Michael Hurst; great grandson Dominique Davis. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Interment to follow service at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601. Pallbearers are Ronnie Hurst, Gary Hurst, Andrew Hurst, Terry Gragg, Michael Boswell, and Brandin Hansrote. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O.
