Betty Ann Epps-Garner's Obituary
Betty Ann Epp Garner, 61, of White Plains, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2020 at University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata.
Born on July 4, 1959 in Alexandria, Virginia, to the late Elizabeth Marie Epp and John Rhudorf Frances Epp. Betty Ann worked as a meat cutter for Safeway until she was disabled. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in White Plains who enjoyed cooking, playing darts, bowling, drinking and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, listening to Country music, playing fair games and being with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Edith Gue.
Betty Ann is survived by her husband Burton E. Garner; children James Epp, William Garner, Tamera (Tammy) Garner, and Shannon Gilroy; siblings John Epp, and Jimmy Epp; Linda Sopjack and her daughter Tamera.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 11AM until time of service at 1PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
Per COVID-19 guidelines, masks are required and social distancing is still in place. While the funeral home is operating with limited capacity (25), we ask that all visitors be mindful of others.
Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
