Betty Ileem Farnsworth's Obituary
Betty I. Farnsworth, 81, of Mineral Point, PA formerly of Waldorf, MD, passed away on September 8, 2023 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, PA.
Betty was born on January 11, 1942 in Johnstown, PA to the late Ruth (Brehm) and Paul Nischalke.
Betty retired from the Prince George’s County Board of Education where she worked as an Account Clerk. She was a faithful member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Johnstown, PA.
In addition to her parents Betty is preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Farnsworth.
Betty is survived by her children; Jeffery Nischalke and his wife Sharon of Johnstown, PA, Sylvia Pilkerton and her husband Tim of Mechanicsville, MD, and Michele Farnsworth and her significant other Mike Knight of Mechanicsville, MD; grandchildren; Austin and Madison Pilkerton, of Mechanicsville, MD, and Damian Macy of Pittsburg, PA; siblings; William Nischalke of Williamsburg, VA, Edward Nischalke of Johnstown, PA, and Alice Mayer, of Johnstown, PA; and brother in-law, Ronald Farnsworth of Chincoteague, MD.
Services and interment will be private.
