Blanche "Billie" Hutchins' Obituary
Blanche “Billie” Hutchins, 81, a prior resident of Indian Head, Maryland, for 35 years, died on Wednesday, April 17, 2025, at Inspirations Assisted Living and Memory Care, Linthicum, Maryland.
Billie was born December 6, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Blanche and Mearl Phelps.
She was the mother of April, mother-in-law to David, grandmother of John and his wife Lydie, Great grandmother to Julionna, Cailean and Charis. She was also a sister of Jerry Phelps, sister-in-law to Lisa, an aunt to Ben and Lauren and a great aunt to Nolan, Bethany, Rachel and Jacob.
For 20 years she worked at the Comptroller's Office at the Naval Support Facility in Indian Head, Maryland. Before that, she served as an LPN at Charles County Nursing Home.
Billie loved to travel, explore new places and make beautiful memories along the way. She was an avid reader, loved genealogy, crafting and Tom Cruise movies.
We are comforted by the knowledge that she is now at peace and in the presence of the Lord. We will carry her memory in our hearts until we meet again.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 PM.
