Candace Marie Lants' Obituary
Candace “Candie” Marie Lants, 54, of Waldorf, MD passed away on December 6, 2023, at her residence, Waldorf, MD.
Candie was born on September 21, 1969, in Washington, DC to Nancy (Murray) and David Lants.
Candie worked for the family business, Spa and Pool Service, Inc. Prior to her years of service at the family business, she worked at the State Department. She enjoyed reading and talking on her phone. She loved her family and her cats; Bella and Bubby.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; Louis and Catherine Lants; maternal grandparents; Norman and Josephine Murray; uncles; John Lants and his wife Ilene, and Ralph Walker; and aunts; Jennifer Murray, and Marleen Lants.
In addition to her parents, David and Nancy Lants; she is survived by her brother, Joseph Lants and his wife Monica; niece, Prescilla Lants and her husband Todd Kingman; great-niece, Sya; great-nephew, Rylan; uncles; Anthony Murray, Andrew Lants, Ben Lants, and Al Lants; aunts; Sissy Crisostomo and her husband Criss, and Cathy Walker; and cousins; Thomas Abel, Jr., Thomas Farrell, Jr., Angela Farrell, Angela Castaldy, Brian Lants, Clint Walker, Keith Lants, Christian Lants, and Tracy Osborne.
Friends will be received on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until the time of Service at 7:00 PM at Raymond Funeral Service, 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646. Entombment will be on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 12:00 PM, at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Candie’s name are asked to the, Humane Society of Charles County, 71 Industrial Park Drive, Waldorf, MD 20602.
