Cecilia Ann Dixon's Obituary
Cecilia Ann Dixon (Sissy), age 80, of LaPlata MD, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025.
Cecilia is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Charles E. Dixon Sr. And her children, Wendy Dixon Wallace (Robert Wallace), Patricia Grimes (Mark Grimes), Sue Donaldson (Billy Donaldson), and Charles E. Dixon Jr. Grandchildren; Britny Dixon, Butch Finall (Kayla Finall), Lucy Finall, Ashley Groves, Cheyenne Donaldson, Grayce Dixon, and Chaise Dixon. Great Grandchildren; Larae Finall, and Asher Finall. Siblings; Susabell Baker, Patsy Walker, and Roy Boswell. She was also deeply loved by her many nieces and nephews.
Cecilia enjoyed planning family get togethers, going to the casino’s, playing bingo, and knitting. She always had a smile on her face for anyone she saw. She had a kind heart and was supportive of those around her.
She was proceeded in death by her parents John and Thelma Boswell and siblings Johnny Boswell, Spanky Boswell, and Nancy Allison and daughter-in-law Debbie Dixon.
A visitation will held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
Pallbearers will be Mark Grimes, Patty Grimes, Billy Donaldson, Sue Donaldson, Eddie Dixon, Grayce Dixon, Rob Wallace, Butch Finall and Lucy Finall.
Cecilia’s presence will be deeply missed by her loved ones, but she will be forever in our hearts.
