Cynthia Whiting, 66, of Waldorf, MD, passed away on April 11th, 2020. Born on January 11th, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA. She was the eldest daughter of Commodore and Ruth McLean.
On July 25th, 1980, Cynthia married Robert Whiting in Philadelphia, PA. Cynthia enjoyed singing, dancing, and music. She was on the praise team as well as an elder at her church, New Life Christian Ministries International. Cynthia was strict, but she was a very loving and caring individual. If anyone needed help, she would jump at the chance to help. She was truly loved by many.
Cynthia leaves behind her husband, Robert Whiting Sr. 2 children; Robert Whiting II (Sanetia), Angelica Whiting. 1 granddaughter; Mackenzie Whiting. Mother; Ruth McLean. 4 sisters; Veronica Perez (Edwin), Jacqueline Capers, Joyce McLean, Laverne Shaw. 2 sister-in-laws; Jackie Shells, Dale Earley. 2 brothers; Benjamin McLean, Tony McLean. 3 brother-in-laws; Joseph Earley, Anthony Earley, John Earley. Nieces and nephews; Beth, LaSharon, Wyneika, April, Felipe, Liz, Shavere, Desiree, Star, Gregory, Joshua. Great nieces and nephews; Norman, Natasha, Naquinna, Zion, Nonyea, and many, many more.
She was preceded in death by her father; Commodore McLean. Parent-in-law; Joseph and Jean Earley. 1 sister; Beverley McLean. 1 brother; Commodore Troy McLean. 2 brother-in-laws; Stephen Capers and Gregory Shaw.
