David Anthony East's Obituary
David Anthony East, 70, of Newburg, MD passed away on September 3, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.
David was born on December 6, 1950 in Oxnard, CA to the late Victoria (Flores) Green and Lolen David East.
David Served in the United States Navy from 1970-1971. He had his Bachelors degree and was a Pastor with the Foursquare Church. He enjoyed; writing poetry, woodworking, ministering to others, and listening to Christian Music. He had a great love for his family, and animals. He was an American Indian and a member of the Ojo Caliente Chiricahna Apache tribe.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Frank East, and step-daughter, Sarah Bowling.
David is survived by his wife of 18 years, Cathy (Wolfe) East, son, Noah Campana, daughter, Sabrina Bird, step-daughters; Carrie Lopacinski (Steven), and Katie Gale (Joey), grandchildren; Kassandra Marsh (Mike), Madison Ingersoll, Anna Lopacinski, Thomas Gale, Emily Gale, and Brooke Lopacinski, great-grandchild, Ares Daniel, brother, Gary East (Patricia), sister, Cyndi Wennberg (Glenn), Mother-in-law, Lillie May Wolfe, Sisters-in-law; Mary East, Isla Wickham (Jim), and Suzy Wolfe, brothers-in-law; Mel Wolfe, and Deane Wolfe (Kathy), and countless nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:30 AM, at Living Word Community Church, 39371 Harpers Corner Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
Service will be conducted by Pastor Jim Wickham.
Pallbearers will be; Jason Wolfe, Sam Wolfe, Jordan Wolfe, Joey Gale, Steven Lopacinski, and Thomas Gale. Honorary pallbearers will be; Tony Wolfe, and Nathaniel Wickham.
