David Lee Wood "Boe"'s Obituary
David Lee Wood “Boe” 51 of Indian Head, MD, passed away April 20, 2016 at University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, in LaPlata, MD. He was born June 23, 1964 in LaPlata, MD. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard A. Wood, Jr. and Ida M. Pulliam Wood and his brother Danny Wood.
Boe is survived by his wife Karen L. Wood, they were married February 27, 1992, his children Jennifer King (Benjamin), Tiffany Wood, Jessica Wood and Marley Yake. Grandchildren McKenzie, Hannah, Bailey, Grace, Benjamin and Gideon. His siblings Hazel Robey, Richard Wood, Gertie Wood, Tommy Wood, Jeanie Strickjland, Georgia McCoy, and Steven Wood.
Boe was a graduate of Lackey High School and a mechanic for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. Boe enjoyed car shows and spending time with his family.
Viewing will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM with service on Tuesday April 26, 2016 at 11 AM at Williams Funeral Home, P.A in Indian Head, MD.
Interment Wednesday April 27, 2016 at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD
