Dennis Leon Marshall's Obituary
The son of Dorothy Marshall and Mack Fenwick quietly slipped away to his eternal resting place on Wednesday October 7,2020 at Adventist Healthcare Fort Washington Medical Center in Fort Washington, Maryland. Dennis was born June 10,1966 in LaPlata, Maryland Dennis received his education in Charles County School System. He worked over 40 years in the Grocery Industry as Meat Cutter. Dennis was currently at Weis Market in Accokeek, MD and Costco Wholesale in Brandywine, MD at the time of his death. Dennis previously drove tractor trailer for Wood Trucking. Dennis loved to watch Sanford and Son and sports on tv. His favorite teams were the Washington Football Team and Dallas Mavericks. Dennis also loved cooking on the grill and listening to his southern-Soul music. He loved cleaning his cars and riding his motorcycle. On his days off you could find Dennis sitting at the 7-Eleven reading his newspaper and drinking his coffee. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Dennis loved his Dj’s at family events. Dennis was preceded in death by his stepfather James Matthews, grandparents, Florence Wood Marshall, Mitchell Marshall and Carrie and Dudley Fenwick, his aunts Thelma Marshall, Annie Drummond, Delores Brawner and Doris Ann Fenwick, his uncles Johnny, Harold, Edward, Lawrence Fenwick. His also preceded in death by his mother in law Mary Neal and father in law Arthur Bush, brother in law, Tony Bush, Sr and two sister in laws, Alice Baruwa and Julia Farris. Nephew Kandeh Turay and Niece Shantel Bright. Dennis was joined in Matrimony on July 23, 1994 to the love of his life Louise (Tina) Marshall, From this union came two beautiful daughters Denicia Marshall and Shaniece (Jamarr). Dennis was happy to be expecting his first granddaughter Saniyah in December. He also leaves behind one godson Kwame’ Marshall. Dennis leave behind Step mother Ethel Fenwick. Dennis leave behind 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Carla Fenwick, Loretta Jones (Rodney), Patricia Fenwick, Maxwell Fenwick (Clauvenda) William Marshall (Andrea),Terry Tolson (Mark) Michelle Marshall ( Randy). He leaves aunts and uncles, Charles Wood (Hazel) Paul Wood, Mary Wood, Evelyn Johnson, James Marshall, John Marshall (Diane), Betty Wood, Lucille Hicks ,and Sarah Collins(William). Sister in laws Annette Hebb (Quintin) Flora Gantt, Annie Dorsey, Yvonne Butler. Brother in laws Melvin Butler,Sr, Robert Butler(Barbara), Larry Baruwa. Dennis leaves behind his best buddies Dexter Superville ,Ed Coston and Mike McMullen and Charlie Brown and host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends to cherish his memory. Visitation will be held on Friday October 23, 2020 at New Life Church 9690 Shepherds Creek Pl, La Plata, MD 20646 from 11:00 a.m. until Homegoing Service 1:00 p.m. Interment Trinity Memorial Gardens Waldorf, Maryland.
