Obituary for Dolores Ann Jackson
Dolores Ann Jackson, age 73, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Chesapeake Shores Nursing Home after her struggle with Parkinson’s disease. Dolores was born in Washington, DC to the late George and Ethel Petty on February 23, 1944.
Grandchildren, family and friends were Dolores’ passion and delight. She was an accountant for Heller Electric Co. for 33 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Herbert and Gene Petty; her sister, Mildred Norton; and her granddaughter, Kinsley Jackson.
She is survived by her sons, Rick (Kelly), David (Tina, and Scott (Roxanne) and her daughter, Stefanie Oppermann (Bobby). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM with Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
