Dorothy Lee Willett, 78 of Waldorf Maryland passed on June 04 ,2023. She was born in Washington D.C to John Miles Caldwell and Barbara Allen Herbert on May 02, 1945.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a homemaker for most her life but also a business owner of Wings, Wags, and Whiskers. She Married William Willett and together they had two children. In her younger years Dorothy enjoyed playing softball, bowling, horseback riding, and motorcycles. She loved Rodeo work. Anything outside is what she loved almost as much as she loved her family.
Predeceased by her parents, she is survived by her loving husband William Willett, Son William Stacey Willett “Bubba”, daughter Michelle Davis, four grandchildren; Michael Davis, Jamie Davis, Tori Ruefly, and Tyler Willett, five great-grandchildren; Tristan Davis, Maison Davis, Jaiden Davis, Lily Davis, Emma Ruefly, with two on the way, and her sister Barbara Martin “Punk”.
The family asks in Lieu of flowers; you share Dorothy’s love of animals and donate to the Humane Society of Charles County.
Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel; located at 5635 Washington Ave La Plata MD 20646, on June 8th,2023 for immediate family only. Followed by Burial at Trinity Memorial Gardens located at; 3221 Matta woman Beantown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601at 1pm.
