Drexel Foreman Jourdan, age 76, of Waldorf, MD is survived by his loving family.
Drexel “DJ” Foreman Jourdan, 76, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away on February 16, 2026.
Born on March 28, 1949, in Washington, D.C., he was the beloved son of the late Ella Brooks and James Jourdan.
DJ was a devoted husband to Debra Jourdan and a proud father to Tammy Sirbaugh (Larry), Dawn Hoffman (Ricki), Pamela Dinges (Ronnie Wiesberg), Christina Jourdan (William Senior), Cindy Inscoe, and David White. He is survived by his sisters Karen Swinburn (Ricky) and Kathy Miller (Ron). He was a loving grandfather (15) and great-grandfather (15) who cherished playing and laughing with his many grandchildren.
For many years, DJ served as manager of Mr. Clean Car Wash, where he built lasting friendships and meaningful connections. He enjoyed meeting people and took pride in giving his children and grandchildren the opportunity to work alongside him.
An avid WWE fan, DJ never missed an episode. He also enjoyed spending a day at the casino and making daily trips to get his lottery tickets — always hopeful and optimistic.
He will be remembered for his friendly spirit, gift for conversation, and the way he made others feel welcome. His warmth, humor, and devotion to family will be deeply missed.
DJ was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Paul McFarland and Jimmy Jourdan, and his granddaughter Robyn Irby.
Funeral services will be held on March 3, 2026, by Terrence L. Johnson Funeral Service, PA, 27 Industrial Park Dr, Waldorf, MD 20601, with viewing at 11:00 AM, service at 12:00 PM, and burial at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawomen Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601, where he will be laid to rest near his granddaughter Robyn Irby.
DJ’s legacy of love, laughter, and connection lives on through his family and the many lives he touched.
