Edward “Warren” Brickerd, Sr
August 3, 1943 – July 31, 2022, 78 years old
Warren passed away the morning of July 31, at his home in Waldorf surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Laurel, MD to Elmer Brickerd Sr. and Ethel (Taylor) Brickerd.
For most of his early life Warren was a truck driver, then he became a welder. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, westerns and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. Everyone knows and remembers him for his great sense of humor.
He is predeceased by his parents, sister Edith Baden, brother Elmer Brickerd Jr., and Granddaughter Lena Whelan.
Survived by his loving wife Patricia Brickerd, and their children Amber Whelan (Michael), and Kevin Brickerd. He is also survived by Angela Hooper, Kimberly Bateman, and Edward Brickerd Jr. (Crystal), 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
The family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made in Warrens name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
Family & friends are invited to attend visitation at Raymond Funeral Service, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646 on August 6, 2022 from 11am- 12pm. Then continue to a graveside service at Trinity memorial gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601 at 12:30pm.
