He was a dedicated family man and a hard worker who enjoyed a 42 year career with the United States Postal Service as a Mail Carrier. He was a simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life including family, friends, church, sports, fishing, and music. He loved the Lord and was dedicated to the Ebenezer AME Church family. Cherishing his memory is the love of his life and devoted wife Johnnie, children; his best friend Ernest Jr. (Calancy) and daddy's girl Alisa (Dewayne), grandchildren, his main man Khalid and his cute scholar Courtney, brother-in-law Alonza Evans and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
