Evelyn Jane Laudenberger's Obituary
Evelyn Jane Laudenberger, 90, of Leonardtown, Maryland, formerly of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Born on October 12, 1931 in Culpeper, Virginia, Evelyn was the daughter of the late James Fletcher and Delores O’Bannon Fletcher. Evelyn was a homemaker and a substitute teacher at Accokeek Elementary. As her children got older, she started working at the MVA in Waldorf and the DMV in Alexandria, VA. After retiring, Evelyn joined the St. Charles Senior Club and eventually became President for many years. Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend, who was loved by many.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her oldest son George E. Scott III; brother Lee Fletcher; sisters Sue Miekiara, Helen Worsham, Nita Phillips, and Billie Fletcher.
Evelyn is survived by her children Steven Scott, James Scott, Terri Goldsmith (Joe), and Tammy Norris (Mickey); many precious grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 9AM until time of service at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601. Pallbearers are Joe Goldsmith, Mickey Norris, Michael Scott, Ryan Norris, Tommy Hanson and Kevin Robertson.
