FRANCES ANN RICCO's Obituary
Frances Ann Ricco, 85, of Mechanicsville, Md, passed away at her home on Monday, March 16, 2026. She was born on August 22, 1940, in Frostburg, Md, to the late Lawrence and Carmella Stanton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Ricky Galentine. She is survived by her twin sister Mary Mallory, sister Kathie Crowe (Charles), brother Robert Stanton (Sybil), sister Sharon Christner (Wade), daughter Ellen Weisbrod, daughter Vickie Futrell (Vernon), daughter Theresa Hook (Jason), 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host nieces and nephews. Frances was a long-time member of St. Francis de Sales Parish in Benedict, Maryland, strong in her Catholic faith, she had a special devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary.
She was a loving and protective Mother, Nana, and Great Nana. Generous and fiercely independent, she was known to enjoy a Coors Lite Beer from time to time and her outlook on life, "It is what it is". She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m., until time of Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m., at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 7185 Benedict Ave., Benedict, MD 20612.
Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Garden in Waldorf, MD.
