Frank Leonard White's Obituary
On November 25, 2024, Frank “Lenny” Leonard White, 89, of Laurel, MD, passed away. Lenny was born on April 6, 1935, in Boulevard Heights, MD to the late Edwin and Blanche White.
Following high school, Lenny took on various jobs before landing a position as a warehouse supervisor in the telecommunications industry. Lenny's dedication and strong work ethic earned him the respect of his colleagues and supervisors alike, which resulted in lifelong friendships. To this day, he maintained contact with two former coworkers, Marion Warren and Mattie Bates. Lenny retired in 1994 after 41 years in the field.
Lenny met his beloved wife Betty and they shared nearly 50 years of love and devotion, creating countless cherished memories together. He was blessed with two children, David White of Laurel, MD, and Deborah Jones who predeceased her father. He was also blessed to have three stepchildren, Richard Twigg of Arkansas, Steve Twigg of Tennessee, and Terry Twigg of Tennessee.
Lenny had a passion for going on cruises, particularly in the Caribbean. He relished the opportunity to explore new sights and people-watch. Additionally, he cherished family gatherings. Whether it was a holiday feast or a simple weekend barbecue, Lenny always ensured there was plenty of laughter and love to go around. His warmth and generous spirit were the glue that brought everyone together, creating cherished memories that his family will hold dear forever.
Lenny was predeceased by his parents, daughter, and siblings Edwin White, Jr., Robert White, Clinton White, Dorothy Hall, and Helen White. He is survived by his son, daughter in-law Patricia, stepsons, and grandchild Russell “Tyler” Jones, and two great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation on December 13, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:00am, funeral service at 11:00am at the Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Interment following at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601.
