George Wilson Hilton Sr.'s Obituary
It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of George W. Hilton, Sr on Sunday March 2nd, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Julia H, Hilton. Born in Washington DC on October 30, 1934 to the late Harry L. Hilton, Jr and Helen Richardson Hilton. Loving father to the late George W. Hilton, Jr., The late Charles R. Hilton, Paul Hilton (Patricia), Thomas Hilton Sr. (Dana), Deborah Hilton Holl (Late Frank), Michael Hilton Sr. (Linda). Loving Grandfather of the late Denise Marie Hilton and also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 25 Great grand Children, and 8 Great-great Grandchildren.
George retired from the Government Printing Office in 1997 after a long government service. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, golfing and most of all his Washington Redskins.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and even spent many summer vacations with his children and grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 10 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral services and prayers will begin at 11:00. Burial will occur at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
