Gray "Franklin" A. Franklin's Obituary
Gray “Frank” A. Franklin of Davidsonville, MD passed away on September 17, 2016 at the University of MD Washington Medical Center in Baltimore, MD at the age of 89.
Born on January 13, 1927 in Madison County, NC to the late Escol Franklin and the late Sevilla Gentry Franklin, Frank is also predeceased by his spouse, Elsie Franklin; son, Steve Franklin; brothers, Ernest Franklin and Junior Franklin; sisters, Denise Franklin, Gracie Giles, Frankie Franklin and Carey Franklin.
Frank is survived by daughters, JoAnn Owens and Barbara J. Daniel; brother, J.D. Franklin; grandchildren, Roland E. Daniel, Robert A. Edward, Shawn M. Sellner and Stephanie L. Horning; and great-grandchildren, Colbey E. Daniel, Jr. and Robert A. Daniel, Jr.
Frank was employed by Channey Enterprises as a Welder. He was of Baptist faith and will be missed by many.
The family will recieve friends on Wednesday September 21, 2016 from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home LaPlata, MD.
A Funeral service will be held on Thursday September 22, 2016 at the funeral home at 12:30 PM.
Interment to follow at the Trinity Memorial Gardens Waldorf, MD.
