Greg William Scott's Obituary
Greg William Scott, age 64, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away on October 16, 2019.
Greg was an Account Executive across the medical and OSHA industry for 37 years. After his retirement, he was a Casino Dealer at MGM Casino at National Harbor. He was a Member of the Waldorf Jaycees, the Maryland Jaycees, and the Maryland Jaycee Militias and Senate. The Scott family won "Family of the Year" in 1992. He was also a past Commander of the Maryland Jaycee Crab Corps and a Member an past President of the St. Andrew's Society of Baltimore. Greg enjoyed his hobbies, which included genealogy and growing tropical plants, especially banana trees and pineapples. Most of all, he was a proud husband, father, and grandfather.
Greg was son of the late Winfield Grant Scott and the late Margaret Shifler Scott.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Peggy Yow Scott; two daughters, Miki Fett, and husband Garrett, of Williamsburg, VA and Mary Markley, and husband Scott, of Rockville, MD; two brothers, Grant Scott of Waldorf, MD and Erick Scott of Seattle, WA; and four grandchildren, Jesse Fett, Jackson Fett, Theodore Markley, and Lucille Markley.
Funeral Services and Interment for Greg will be private.
