Janet Kay Hall's Obituary
anet Kay Ould Hall, age 68, (formerly of La Plata, Maryland), died on September 13, 2018 in Hampstead, North Carolina.
Raised in Forest Heights, Janet was the daughter of LaVera Stevens and Eugene Ould, and a sister to Charlotte. She married Michael Hall in 1972, with whom she had 3 children (Michael, Traci, Jenna), 3 dogs (Misty, Brandy, Gunner), and, despite Michael's initial protesting, 3 cats (Tiger, Samantha, and B-Bop).
Janet worked as a bank teller, and later, financial service representative, from 1989 to 2013. She could often be seen driving down Route 6 in La Plata, with the windows down in her Dodge Dakota or Chevy Silverado, smoking a cigarette, and singing along to Oldies 100.3 or 98.7 WMZQ.
She is survived by her son, Michael Hall; her two daughters, Traci Tompkins, and Jenna Hall; and four grandchildren, Kameron, Tyler, Emma and McKenzie.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 4PM until time for a Memorial Service to begin at 6PM at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. 5635 Washington Avenue La Plata, Maryland 20646. Interment will be private.
