Jeffrey "Jeff" Wayne Dunlap's Obituary
Jeffrey Wayne “Jeff” Dunlap, age 56 of Colonial Beach, Virginia passed away November 26, 2016 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Jeff was an Ironworker with the Local #5 Ironworkers Union for 30 years, having done many buildings in Washington, DC including the Reagan Building. He enjoyed woodworking, boating, fishing, playing his saxophone, and dancing. He enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was the son of late Mitchell N. Dunlap and the living Margaret Louise Long Dunlap. He is predeceased by his father and his son, Daniel Wayne Dunlap.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 23 years, Edie Brown Dunlap; his daughter, Rachael Marie Fitzsimons and husband James; his sister, Karen Heppe and husband Jim; and his grandchildlren, Danielle Fitzsimmons, Kaitlyn Fitzsimmons, T. J. Grigsby, Becca Grigsby, Cade Hurley, and Joe Grigsby.
Friends received on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 10AM until time of Funeral Service at 12PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
