Kelvin Wayne Lee's Obituary
KELVIN WAYNE LEE was born on January 23, 1966 to Samuel and Jerutha Lee in Los Angeles, California.
As a young man, Kelvin obeyed the gospel and was baptized into the Church of Christ and remained a devout Christian until the end of his life.
Kelvin attended Birmingham High School in Los Angeles, California. In 1988, he moved to Washington, DC where he attended and graduated from Howard University. Howard University is where he met the love of his life, Deitra Hazelwood. On October 2, 1995, Kelvin and Deitra were united in holy matrimony. This twenty-four year union was blessed with two children, Alexandra Ellen and Victoria Michelle.
Kelvin was employed as a budget analyst for over thirty years, with Prince George's County Department of Health being his most recent employer. He was known by all as a jokester who put a smile on the faces of everyone he met.
Kelvin departed this life on June 6, 2020, at the age of fifty-four years old. He was preceded in death by his parents. Kelvin leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife; his "girls", Alex and Tori; his brother and sister, Rick (Carol) Stallworth of Islip, New York and Karen Lee of Los Angeles, California; a host of nieces and nephews; and numerous family and friends.
