Kenneth Carroll Watson's Obituary
Kenneth "Tom" Carroll Watson, age 64, of Charlotte Hall, passed away on February 23, 2023.
Born on August 5, 1958 in Washington DC, he is the son of Mary Ruth Watson and the late Harley Kenneth Watson.
He is survived by his wife, Charlynn Watson and sons Evan and Gregory Watson, and sister Deb Flick (Dave); nieces Dana Hollingsworth and Amber Clayton.
Tom graduated from Thomas Stone High School in 1976. He worked for PEPCO for 32 years. After retiring, he volunteered for the Dentsville Fire and EMS (Company 15) as an ambulance driver. He was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church of Mechanicsville.
Tom was a carpenter and loved working with wood. He made several beautiful pieces for his wife and other family members. He played baseball in his youth, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle.
Visitation and funeral services will be held at Gospel Light Baptist Church (39315 Romans Way, Mechanicsville, MD 20659) on Thursday, March 2 from 8:30-9:30am and 9:30-10:15am respectively. Graveside service will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens at 11am (3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Gospel Light Baptist Church at 39315 Romans Way, Mechanicsville, MD 20659.
