Lillian Jean Weeks' Obituary
Lillian Jean Weeks, 68, of Indian Head, Maryland, went to be with our heavenly father suddenly on June 1, 2025. Born in Washington, D.C on May 19,1957 to her late parents William and Norma
Jean Raby.
She was a teacher at heart, whether it be a school, or a daycare. Her children and grandchildren always knew there was a lesson to be learned. Her love of teaching was
apparent to anyone that met her.
She was a devoted Christian to Marbury Baptist Church. She was proud to show her love for God and her church family. She attended many bible study classes and Sunday school on a regular weekly basis.
She married her high school sweetheart Raymond (Randy) Weeks Jr on September 7, 1973. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. Her loving nature warmed everyone that knew her.
Lillian is survived by her husband Randy, and her bonus Mom Millie Raby, two brothers Bobby Raby and Billy Raby; their three children Lisa Owens (Dwight), Michael Weeks (Tiffany), Chrissy King (JW); seven grandchildren Ashleigh (Tyler), Michael Brenden (Lizzy), Gregory, Kent, Austin, Bryan (Haley), Marissa and 2 great grandchildren Paisley and Luke.
She is preceded in death by her sister Donna Reynolds.
Pallbearers will be Michael, JW , Michael Brenden, Bryan, Kent and Austin.
The family will receive friends at Marbury Baptist Church on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 10 AM until the time of funeral service at 12 noon. Following prayer services burial will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens with a repast at the Marbury Baptist Church.
