Lorrin Jeanette Green's Obituary
Lorrin Jeanette Jacobs-Green, 31 of La Plata, MD passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, July 23, 2022.
Born December 2, 1990 in Lakeview, New York, Lorrin was the daughter of Martin and Jeanette Jacobs. She began school in New York until the family moved to Weston, FL in 1997. In 2003, the family moved to Waldorf, MD. She earned her High School diploma at Green Run HS in Virginia Beach, VA.
Lorrin became very sick with leukemia after having suffered a brain bleed in May. She never fully recovered from it and spent the last month of her life at Washington Hospital Center. When there was no hope for her recovery, she chose to come home to hospice. She wanted to spend her last days with the people who loved her. She lived one week at home before taking her last breath.
Lorrin was full of life! Her smile could light up a room. She was always ready to go and do anything. She did things her way, good or bad. If you were her friend, she would do anything she could for you, but if you were on her bad side, she didn’t hesitate to let you know it.
In addition to her parents, Lorrin is survived by her four children, Leon (12), Aaliyah (9), Aayden (8), and Princess (6). She loved them with all her heart. Lorrin leaves to mourn two brothers, Mike Caesar (Tieisha) and Kenny Glover, and a sister Linsey. She had three Aunts (one favorite, you know who you are), two uncles, one niece, one nephew, a host of cousins and friends.
