Louella (Peggy) Myers Shamblin's Obituary
Louella (Peggy) Myers Shamblin went home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2016, at the Hospice of Charles County.
She was born on April 15, 1927, in Charleston, WV, to the late Virgie Lee Saunders Myers and William Myers.
She was a homemaker. The best Mother ever, she will be missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother William F. Myers.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, James F. Shamblin; daughter, Charlene Kay Shamblin Rye (Ronnie), son Michael J. Shamblin (Terri); Grandchildren, J.E. Rye (Susan), Michael Shamblin Jr. (Kathy), Jeffery Rye (Missy) and Caitlin Shamblin; great-grandchildren, Samantha Rye, Alexa Shamblin, Alexis Rye, Matthew Shamblin, Nicole Rye, and Alex and Evan Rye; great-great grandson Leighton Roof and our extended family Linda Bubnack, Brenda Abell, Johnny Buck, Bobby and Alice Wheeler and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Williams Funeral Home on Monday, August 1, viewing 10 a.m. to time of service at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Garden, Waldorf, MD.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Charles County, 2505 Davis Road, Waldorf, MD 20603 or Marbury Church of God, 4825 Bicknell Road, Marbury, MD 20658.
Pallbearers will be Jay Rye, Mike Shamblin Jr., Jeffery Rye, J.R. Wheeler, Matthew Shamblin, Johnny Buck. Honorary Pallbearers, Michael Shamblin, Ronnie Rye and Bobby Wheeler.
