Margie Marie Meadows Mundy's Obituary
Margie Marie Meadows Mundy, age 82 of Eldersburg, MD, went home to be with The Lord on June 14, 2016. She was at the Dove House of Carroll Hospice in Westminster, MD.
She is the daughter of the late Lloyd E. Meadows, Sr. and the late Pearl Ware Meadows. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mundy is preceded in death by her first husband Owen Duane Hensley and her second husband of 40 years, William Bernard Mundy Jr., and her brother Lloyd E. Meadows, Jr. William and Margie resided in Waldorf, Md.
Mrs. Mundy was a secretary and bookkeeper for Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company for many years, but was retired. She was a lifetime member of The Evangelical UM Church. She was a graduate of Elkton High School in 1950.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Victor Hensley and his wife Catherine, Lynn Hensley and his wife Mary, and Kenneth Mundy and his wife Sandy; and also her daughter, Debra Farber and husband Gary. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Mundy is also survived by 2 sisters, Shelvy Jenkins of Shenandoah, Va., and Janet Eppard of Elkton, Va.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646 where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 beginning at 11AM. There will be a time of brief viewing before the funeral from 9 am until 11:00am. Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
