Marvin Blaine McNair's Obituary
Marvin Blaine McNair, 90 of La Plata Maryland passed on April 18,2023. He was born on February 18, 1933 to Earl McNair and Leahnoire (Galloway) McNair in Bruceton Mills WV.
Marvin served in the Army for two years when he was drafted, then worked as an Auto Technician for the Montgomery County government. He married Mary Barrickman, and had they had two beloved sons. He was of the Baptist faith, and attended First Baptist Church of La Plata. He enjoyed his family as well as activities such as; fishing, and watching many sports such as baseball, basket ball and football.
Along with his parents Marvin is predeceased by his son David McNair. He is survived by his loving wife Mary, son Gary McNair (Stacie), Grandchildren; Shelby Dunphy, Tyler McNair, Macy McNair, Cody McNair and Racquel McNair, 7 Great-grandsons, siblings Ernie Galloway, James McNair, Lula Guthrie, Grenaville McNair, Milton McNair, and Judy Kelley. Along with many friends, and other family members.
Services will be held on April 27th,2023 at Raymond Funeral service located at 5635 Washington Ave La Plata MD with Visitation beginning at 10am, services at 11:30 and interment to follow at 1pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens located at 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601.
