Mary Ann Gooding's Obituary
Mary Ann Gooding, 78 of Accokeek Maryland passed on June 19, 2023. Born in Rappanock County (Rixeyville), Virginia to Inez and Otha Settle on March 13, 1945.
She married Charles F. Gooding Jr and together nearly 60 years. They had two daughters and one son. Mary stayed home to care for her beloved husband, children and their home. She enjoyed tending to her garden, doing ceramics, bird watching and most importantly being with her family.
She is predeceased by her parents as well as 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by her loving husband, childern Tammy Martucci (son-in-law Stephen), Son Charles F. Gooding III (daughter-in-law Deborah), Christine Mulrooney (son-in-law Sean), Stepdaughter Cheryl Dolan (husband Johnny), eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, her sister Sue Wood and Gail Jolif along with many other extended family members and friends.
Viewing will be held on June 27th from 5 to 8 pm at Raymond Funeral Services Chapel, followed by a service the next day on June 28th at 10:30 am, the burial at Trinity Memorial Gardens at noon.
Either flowers or donations to the COPD foundation are appreciated in honor of Mary Gooding's memory.
