Michael Wesley Shirley's Obituary
Michael Wesley Shirley, age 63 of La Plata, Maryland, died December 10, 2021.
Michael was a retired Mechanical Contractor at Tyler Mechanical and was a graduate of Thomas Stone High School’s Class of 1976. He loved to fish, ride motorcycles, and build. He was also an electrician, a carpenter, and he also worked on the Lackey High School Pool Project, North Point High School construction, and Diggs Elementary School construction. He especially loved his daughter and his family.
Michael was the son of Bertram Wesley Shirley and Carol Lee Garrett Melvin. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Kaitlyn Shirley; his brothers, Alan Shirley (and his wife, Melinda) and Mark Shirley (and his wife, Deborah); and his sister, Lisa Macy (and her husband, Glenn).
Funeral services will be private.
