Mrs. Mildred Brumfield's Obituary
Mildred Louise Brumfield, 95, departed this life peacefully on Thursday, April 29, 2021 in Brandywine, MD, at her home and surrounded by family. Mildred was born on August 16, 1925 in Williamston, NC to the late, Henry Wobbleton and Mamie White.
She was a kind and gentle woman who loved her Lord, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren beyond measure. Mildred was a gracious woman who enjoyed the beauty of a spring day, summer sun, changing leaves and fresh fallen snow.
Mildred is survived by her children, James Calvin Brumfield, Jr. of Bowie, MD and Sandra F. Gilroy of Brandywine, MD; four grandchildren, Candi Rye, Angela Francingues, Rock Hall and Calvin Colt Brumfield; six (6) great-grandchildren, Daniel Rye, Lexi Rye, Garrett Francingues, Sierra Francingues, Sky Hall and Tegan Hall. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Brumfield, Sr.; daughter, Pat Brumfield; and siblings, Virgil Wobbleton, Ophus Price, and Dallas Price.
The family will receive friends for Mildred’s Services on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Interment will follow immediately at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
The Pallbearers will be Daniel Rye, Jimmy Francingues, Garrett Francingues, David Richards, Rob Freimayer and Mesha Dulovich.
In lieu of flowers, the family request you give a donation to The Hospice of Cheasapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122, or RES Homecare, 26595 Lawrence Adams Dr., Mechanicsville, MD 20659, for caring of their family in their time of need.
