Millicent Ann Spotz's Obituary
Millicent Ann Spotz, 80 of Mechanicsville MD passed on March 24th, 2024. Born on June 10th, 1943 in Washington D.C, she was the daughter of John Ervin and Mary Ruth (Kenlon) Robey.
After High School she worked for the U.S. Navy as a Secretary / Stenographer. Millie truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid gardener. You could always find her tending to her beloved flowers or cutting the grass on her riding lawn mower, which she loved doing since she was young. Otherwise, she would be doing her crossword puzzles or watching her soaps on TV.
Along with her parents she is predeceased by her sister, Betty Kenlon. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Spotz, son, Christopher Thompson and daughter, Karen Thompson, Stepdaughters, Brenda Herman and Linda Pettersen, Sisters, Madeline Annawalt and Ruth Marie Domanic, four grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be made in Millicent’s name to the American Cancer Society.
Services will be held on April 3rd in Raymond Funeral Services Chapel from 2-4pm then 6-8pm. On April 4th the family and friends will meet for a final goodbye at 10:00am, then proceed to the cemetery for burial at Trinity Memorial Gardens at 11am.
