Mohamed Zamalodeen Khan's Obituary
Mohamed Zamalodeen Khan (aka Zam), age 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at home in White Plains MD. He was born on Feb 7, 1935, in Berbice, Guyana to the late Subrattie and Jamiran Khan. Zam was born and raised in Guyana, migrated to the US in 1998 and since settled in the DMV area.
He was the husband of the late Salima Khan; father of Nasseer Khan, Nazrine Deokinandan, Shereen Joseph and Nazim Khan; father-in-law of David Joseph, Vanila Khan and the late George Deokinandan; grandfather of Nafeeza Ramlochan, Rafeena McCuiston, Rafiah Khan, Asiyah Khan, Rayaaz Khan and Sean Joseph; grandfather-in-law of Ricky Ramlochan and Jason McCuiston; great grandfather of Jasmine, Alania, Joshua and Jaxon; brother of Deen and the late Lattif, Aziz, Baiya, Shiroon, Hikmat and Brods; uncle of Azad, Taz, Zalo, Sally, Son, Nesha, Saudia, Fazia, Daughta, Bibi, Zabo, Patrica, Jenny, Shafeek, Sham, Moses, Mohamid and others; cousin of Zally, Zalina, Sharaz, Zobida and others.
Please join us in celebration of his life on Wednesday, January 26 at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 38576 Brett Way, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. Visitation is from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
Interment following the funeral service at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601.
