Odie Millings' Obituary

Odie Millings, was born to Henry Douglas and Narvis Ingram, on August 9, 1944 in Thomasville, North Carolina. One brother (James) preceded her in death.
The family moved from North Carolina to Baltimore, Maryland where Odie attended and graduated from Baltimore City public schools. Odie met and married the love of her life Frederick Millings and from this union three children were born, They are: Dionne Millings, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Dana Rostick (Curtis) Toledo, Ohio Derek Millings, Waldorf, Maryland. Two stepsons Frederick Redditt, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Frank Millings (Verlina), Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Odie had a quiet spirit. She was friendly to all who met her. She hosted family gatherings and loved to cook those down home meals. Odie loved to travel and shop. She loved to reminisce about her younger days and talk on the phone with her friends, Especially her childhood friend Betty Carter Brooks.
Odie gained her wings on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at the age of 78. She leaves to cherish, 4 siblings Lovic Ingram, Jr., Reading, Pennsylvania, Michael Ingram, Lebanon, Pennsylvania, Narvis Ingram, Reading, Pennsylvania, and Yvette Gayle. She leaves to cherish 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and family.
Odie maintained a lifelong connection with her family and friends, embracing everyone with her quiet spirit. Odie will be sincerely missed especially by her children.
