Patricia Ann Thorne's Obituary
Patricia Ann Thorne, 80, of La Plata, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on December 6, 1943 in Michigan, she was the daughter of the late William G. Selkirk and Norma Cornelius Selkirk. Patricia worked as a bank teller for Maryland Bank and Trust for many years. She enjoyed quilt making, bowling, and canning vegetables. Along with her favorite cats, Felix and Monkey, Patricia loved spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Ripley.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul Thorne; children Rodney, Robert, Frank, Connie, Veronica and Bonnie; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 9AM until time of service 11AM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland with the Reverend Mark Roberson officiating.
Entombment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
