Percy Elmer Moy Jr.'s Obituary
Percy Elmer Moy Jr of Cobb Island, Maryland, aged 93 died peacefully on January 17, 2022 due to complications of COVID-19. He was born December 21, 1928 in Washington D.C. to Rose and Percy Moy Sr. After school he went to work at Hains Point golf course, then off to working for JP Scott & Sons before venturing off on his own as a tool salesman some knew as “Moe”. He later settled in on Cobb Island with his precious wife Barbara. He enjoyed poking fun at family members, blowing bubbles at his pets and grandkids, while sneaking in a snack or two. He was a collector of many things, one being his overabundance of VHS movies. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Barbara; children Sharon and Steven; fur baby Sissy; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; brothers Pat (Donna), Bill (Sandy), sisters Virginia “Tiney” (John) and Grace “Buckie”. He is proceeded in death by his parents Rose and Percy Moy Sr. and son Charles Scott Moy Sr. He will forever be in our hearts and missed by many. Services will be held at Huntt Funeral Home in Waldorf, MD on Saturday January 29, 2022 at 10 am. Pallbearers will be Steven Moy, Michael Pilkerton, James Pilkerton, Richard Hopkins, Kenny Staley and Charlie Moy. Honorary pallbearers are Eric Mills and Kevin Ball.
