Raymond C Luskey's Obituary
Raymond C. Luskey, 78, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, formerly of Bryans Road, Maryland, passed away on August 16, 2021 at the Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Fondly known as Lucky, Mr. Luskey was born on May 1, 1943 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Harold A. Luskey and Mildred E. Luskey. Mr. Luskey was a plumber with the Union Local 5. He enjoyed league bowling, camping, boating, fishing, woodworking, and anything that involved his family.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Luskey was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Aretta Jean Luskey; brother Russell Luskey.
Lucky is survived by his children Tad Luskey, Tammy Swann and her husband Keith, Paul Luskey and his wife Carol; grandchildren Dustin Swann and his wife Mercedes, Megan Luskey; great grandchildren Cameron, Tallen, Mason, and Josie; siblings Shirley Lucas, Janice Gellatly, and Charlie Luskey; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 10AM until time of service at 12Noon at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
Interment to follow services at Trinity Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
