Richard Edward Heise III's Obituary
Richard Edward “Eddie” Heise III, 83 of Indian Head, Maryland, passed after a long illness on November 1st, 2024. Born in Washington, DC on May 8th, 1941 to Richard Edward “Big Eddie” Jr. and Ruby (Brown) Heise.
After high school, Ed completed some college, then went to work for Maryland National Bank where he later rose to the position of Regional Vice President.
Ed married Peggy (Eck) in 1973 and together they had two children. He enjoyed gardening, relaxing on the beach, setting up and displaying to his enormous Christmas village, going antiquing, spending time with his grandchildren, being surrounded by friends and family and lovingly teasing everyone he knew.
He was preceded in death by his by parents and 1st cousin Allen Burnell with whom he was very close. He is survived by his loving wife Peggy, sister Kay Volman (Jerry), children Richard Edward “Ward” Heise IV, Leanne Guerrero (Michael), grandchildren Kylie, Jackson, Niko, Owen and Paxton as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on November 11th, 2024 at Marbury Baptist Church from 10am until time of service at 12pm. Followed by interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens at 2pm. All are welcome to join the family for the repass dinner at Marbury Baptist Church following the burial.
