Rita F. Hicks' Obituary
Rita F. Hicks, 92 of Port Tobacco, MD passed away on October 3, 2016 at Sagepoint Senior Living in La Plata, MD.
Rita was born on September 10, 1924 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Frank Handel and the late Hattie M. Handel. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hicks. Rita is survived by her son, Craig Hicks and grandchildren, Sydney, Colin and Ruth Hicks.
Rita was an analyst for the Federal Government. She will be missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 10AM to 11AM at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, PA (211 St. Mary's Ave., La Plata, MD); where a Funeral Service will begin at 11AM with Pastor Dave Huffman officiating. A Graveside Service to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens Cemetery (3221 Mattawoman Dr., Waldorf, MD).
