ROBERT LEE FLEMING's Obituary
Robert “Bob” Lee Fleming, 86, of Waldorf, MD passed away on March 1, 2026 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, La Plata, MD. Bob was born on August 24, 1939, in Washington, DC to Roxey (Weber) and Henry Clayton Fleming. Bob proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a Sheet Metal Worker for the Local Union 100 for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, puzzles, gardening and working in his yard, upholstery, wood working, and being a handyman working on small projects. He was a fan of Nascar racing, and a lifelong Commanders football fan. He loved his family and was super proud of his grandchildren and great-grandson, always bragging about them. He was extremely proud that all of the grandchildren had gone to college. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his eight siblings. Bob is survived by his children; John Fleming and his wife Bonnie, and Vicki Vetter and her husband David, grandchildren; Erin Fairorth and her husband Ian, Casey Fleming, Joshua Vetter, Jessica Vetter, and Jenna Vetter, and great-grandson, John Steven Fairorth. Visitation will be on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 10:30 AM until time of Service at 12:00 PM at Raymond Funeral Service, 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
