Roger Matthew Pirner's Obituary
Roger Matthew Pirner, 75, of Hughesville, MD died June 26, 2019 at George Washington University Hospital. Born on March 21, 1944, in Brandywine, MD, he was the son of the late Leon Pirner and the late Agnes Elizabeth Tippett Pirner.
Roger was a hardworking man and was the proud owner of Roger Pirner & Sons Construction. He enjoyed farming, vegetable gardening, eating crabs and spending time with his family.
Roger is survived by his sons, Robbie Pirner, Vincent Pirner, Roger Pirner Jr. and Billy Pirner; four grandchildren and his sister, Helen Rowles. He is also survived by this long-time girlfriend, Martha Hull. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Pirner, his sisters, Ann Wood and Leona Moreland and a granddaughter.
The family will receive friends for Visitation on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 10-11 a.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Interment following at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd., Waldorf, MD 20603.
